Aurore, drawn by Pierre Seron, colorized and very slightly retouched by me. Her skin is blue in the original comic, but I gave her a Caucasian skin tone here, just for fun :-)
It's interesting that while both Americans, Muslims and other slightly primitive minded societies goes completely hysterical when it comes to any kinds of nudity, even innocent nudity, a term which of course is unknown in those parts of the world, the mentality regarding such issues are considerably more relaxed among most native Europeans.
This adorable centarurette is Aurore, one of the two lead characters from "Aurore et Ulysse" (Aurora and Ulysses.) Written and drawn by the Belgian Pierre Seron, this comic, among lots of others, was first published in the comic magazine "Spirou" and later reprinted in higher quality in the comic book series "Les Centaures" (the Centaurs).
A total of 311 pages, not including covers, divided among 14 episodes were published. 297 of which (13 episodes) in Spirou between June 23rd 1977 (No. 2045) and August 24th 1988 (No. 2628). The 14 page episode "Kelvinhator III" was only published in one of the six Les Centaures comic book albums.
Throughout all episodes, both leading characters, including the young female Aurore, are bare chested, or "topless", as shocked Americans would say. Or perhaps not, because it would of course have been impossible to publish a children's comic book in America if the lead character is "naked".
